Broadway Women Talk

This website is a simple blog that will be filled with thoughts and stories from women who consider Broadway Church in Chilliwack, BC their spiritual home.

The goal of this website is to discuss spirituality in a way that moves us forward as a community of believers. It is not a place to read or post confidential information - such as personal prayer requests. At this point, this website can be read by any of your employers, co-workers, family, etc. So, the goal isn't to get you fired or air anything about difficulty with your neighbors. Rather, the hope is that as we share our spiritual journeys and thoughts we can grow in understanding of each other, love for each other and for the Word of God. Since we go to the same church, as we grow in our love for each other, we can seek each other out at church to give or receive encouragement, spiritual direction, prayer and friendship.

If you want to post a comment, please do so. When you are posting, please use a name that will identify you to the rest of our group. So, if you are normally called "wowza" around the church, then go ahead and use that name. If no one will recognize you as "wowza", use a name that will identify you as you. If there are a number of you with the same name, use the first initial of your last name to identify yourself.

If a post is added to this website and it isn't from a recognizable source, we will delete it from the website.

So, this is a bit like a social network - in that we are all socializing online. But, it's also not quite like one in that we don't each have our own websites (like myspace.com). My hope is that it will be a step in the direction of connecting even more with the other women at Broadway Church.
