Hi, I'm Sharon

Hi. I'm Sharon. I'm the wife of Gary, your lead pastor. Gary and I have been married since 1988 and started dating when I was only 19 (yikes)...

Ten other things about me:
1. I have four kids - all born in 5 years (no multiples)
2. I ran a daycare for 3 years.
3. I was the editor of an online magazine.
4. I have lived in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Fort Collins, San Bernardino, Vancouver, India and Chilliwack.
5. I am a partner in an web development and internet marketing company, Stir Communications Group.
6. I love to dragonboat with my team.
7. I make some type of ethnic meal at least once a week for my family - like thai, indian, mexican, chinese or greek.
8. I love improv theatre and took a course at UCFV in improv.
9. My last fine at the library was $86! (ouch)
10. I haven't had a speeding ticket for 10 years (or more).

Many of my favorite life memories center on God's involvement in my life at that time. I have been through many troubles and have found God to be faithful. This doesn't mean that I find faith easy. Not at all.

Over time, I'll write about some of the points along my journey. I hope that my words will encourage you and bring you along in your journey as well. I don't claim to know everything - in fact, the more I mature in Christ, the more okay I am with the "mysteries".
